To soothe burned skin, run cold water on the burned area for 5 minutes then lightly rub lavender oil on the burn. Lavender’s anti-fungal and antibacterial properties may heal head lice and scalp infections.

Place into a carrier oil, such as grape seed oil and smooth over sunburnt skin to restore moisture balance and relieve itching and pain. Lavender essential oil can be placed directly onto acne blemishes and skin infections with a cotton swab as a natural antibiotic. Balance, moisturize and tone your skin by placing a few drops of lavender in water and spritzing over entire face as a toner. Use lavender to fade stretch marks and scars by rubbing the essential oil into the skin.
